Cerebral Palsy Greece was founded in 1972 to provide much-needed welfare for people with cerebral palsy. We believe in the abilities and vast potential of people with cerebral palsy and strive to support them throughout their lives by providing a wide range of educational and rehabilitation services, including medical and therapeutic care, social and psychological support, all levels of education and extended learning, vocational training, social rehabilitation, respite, and residential care.
In 1979, Cerebral Palsy Greece in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, under the Ministry of Spyros Doxiadis, launched a nationwide campaign for the PREVENTION OF CEREBRAL PALSY.
45 years later, the effort continues, as facts have changed, our knowledge has expanded and our opportunities for prevention have increased. Our goal is to educate future parents about predictable risk factors that have been linked to an increased incidence of cerebral palsy.
To help expectant mothers experience a pregnancy with reduced risks of cerebral palsy, we offer a brochure with some simple answers to your questions, as well as some useful tips.
The ultimate goal is to protect the unborn child from disability.
